1. Do both locations provide all the same services?

The Darien and Norwalk locations both provide Emergency Assistance, including Food Pantries and emergency financial assistance. The Darien location also houses the Person-to-Person Clothing Center, available to residents of Lower Fairfield County, and the Norwalk location operates the Furniture Program which serves residents of Norwalk. If you have questions about where to seek help or where to donate, please contact us at
203-655-0048.

2. When I make a financial contribution, may I decide which location will benefit from my donation? You may designate your gift for a particular program for either of our locations.  Please keep in mind that we are a single agency operating in two locations and resources are shared between Darien and Norwalk sites. Unrestricted financial contributions help us to assist individuals and families with low-income throughout Lower Fairfield County.

3. If I need help and I live in Norwalk, can I request assistance in Darien?

Please call Person-to-Person to find out how we can help you and for which services you may qualify. Our teams in both Darien and Norwalk communicate daily and will be able to direct you to the most appropriate location for  your needs.

4. Will CCA close?

No. CCA is now a program of Person-to-Person and will continue to serve residents of Norwalk and the surrounding communities, including New Canaan, Westport, Weston and Wilton.

5. Will services at the Darien location decline or slow down as a result of the agency operating in two locations?

No. Person-to-Person continues to offer the same personalized service to individuals and families living in Lower Fairfield County. The merger of CCA and Person-to-Person allows us to broaden our reach to those who need our services in Lower Fairfield County.
