In between snowstorms … undaunted … 48 players gathered at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien for a friendly Platform Tennis Competition to benefit the P2P Emergency Assistance Program.

And a good time was had by all.

It was a great turnout on a perfect afternoon. The players ranged from beginners to experienced and matches were organized in four flights, under the expert guidance of Paddle Pro Patricio (Thank You!). And the ‘After (Cocktail) Party’ was just as lively with Jessica Herlihy of Family Centers giving a very moving address.

The fundraiser – which will help keep P2P clients warm this winter – was an enormous success.

And so we are giving thanks to everyone who made this happen . . .
