This story, which aired on News4NY on August 5th, highlights how our mobile food pantry is removing barriers and providing access to nutritious food in five neighborhoods throughout Stamford every week. Close to 160 families are receiving 7 days worth of food every month, including fresh produce and meats. Since the launch of the mobile food pantry, access to food from Person-to-Person has increased by 40% and we are well on our way to providing enough food for 1.2 million meals from across our three pantries by the end of this year.
