As a volunteer-driven organization, Person-to-Person operates with a staff of 22 full- and part-time professionals, which includes 8 casework staff.

Senior Staff

Ceci Maher, Executive Director

A Stamford native, Ceci is a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience in leadership, long-range planning, program development, evaluation, fundraising and marketing. Her first career was in fashion marketing in NYC and involved product development in Asia and Europe. Post graduate school, Ceci was a clinical social worker at Four Winds Hospital working with children and youth, and served as Executive Director of Horizons National Student Enrichment Program for five years. A graduate of University of Massachusetts and Columbia University School of Social Work, Ceci has been the P2P Executive Director since 2005. Ceci is a member of the Advisory Boards for Norwalk ACTS, Stamford Cradle to Career and Volunteer Square, and a college coach/mentor for a student in the Wilton A Better Chance (ABC) program. She has completed the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University and professional training at the Stanford Social Innovation Nonprofit Management Institute and the Harvard Business School Executive Education program.

Elizabeth P. Finn, Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer, Elizabeth oversees finance including budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting as well as human resources and technology. Elizabeth began working for P2P in 2012 as a consultant and became the COO in May, 2015. She has a strong background in finance with previous work experience in Private Banking in Manhattan and Richmond VA. In addition, she has numerous years of volunteer experience including as past president of the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County, the board of The Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival as well as many other organizations in the Fairfield area. Elizabeth received both her MBA and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Richmond.

Marianne Delaney, Director of Development

Marianne Delaney joined the Development Office in May 2016. She is responsible for developing and executing all fundraising initiatives. With a passion for empowering low-income families and a strong background in human services fundraising, Marianne has served as Development Director at a number of area non-profits including Neighbors Link Northern Westchester, providing education and employment opportunities to immigrant families. Previously she worked in public relations, non-profit arts management and as a writer and editor. Marianne has an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications. She serves on the Board of the Association of Development Officers (ADO), the Bedford Central School District’s Budget Advisory Committee, the Friends of Neighbors Link and a number of other community organizations.

Lauren Franciamore, Director of Social Services

Lauren Franciamore supervises the Person-to-Person Casework staff and oversees the implementation and success of the agency’s Emergency Assistance program. She joined Person-to-Person as Director of Social Services in 2017. Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who is also SIFI certified. She came to P2P from Community Centers, Inc., in Greenwich, where she worked for 10 years, first as a social worker and then, since 2014, as its Executive Director. Prior to Community Centers, Inc., Lauren served as a Residential Psychology Specialist with the YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities Network. Her earlier experience includes service as a social work intern at Julia Dyckman Andrus Memorial Center, Prospect House Homeless Shelter, and Family & Children’s Agency. Lauren received her Masters in Social Work from New York University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Sacred Heart University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Janet King, Director of Volunteers

Janet is responsible for the recruitment, training, and supervision of Person-to-Person’s volunteers. To ensure the efficient running of the agency, she coordinates volunteer schedules, conducts training, and liaises with the community to attract new volunteers; both individuals and community groups. Janet was Director of Member Services at Western Athletic Clubs, San Francisco, CA and worked with Esprit de Corp and Brooks Brothers in New York, NY. Janet is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in business administration and marketing.


Kim Collibee, Manager of Technology and Programs

Kim joined Person-to-Person in February 2014 as Executive Assistant/Office Manager. In July of 2016, she was promoted to Manager of Technology and Programs. In this role, Kim is responsible for the Scholarship Program, helps manage the Campership Program and maintains the Salesforce database. Additionally, she oversees IT and technology systems for the Darien and Norwalk offices. Prior to joining P2P Kim worked in book publishing and market research. She graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing and a minor in photography.

Alison de Lavis, Development Officer

Alison joined Person-to-Person in July 2016. She supports the Director of Development in a variety of ways, including the preparation and submission of proposals, reports and other communications with donors. Alison also supports the Development Office with event planning and acts as the agency’s representative with OPUS for Person-to-Person. Prior to joining P2P, Alison was the Program Director for AFEDJ – a humanitarian aid organization focused on supporting the schools and hospitals of the Diocese of Jerusalem, primarily in Israel, Palestine and Jordan. She has previously held management positions in the theater, education and music. Alison holds a BA from the University of Manchester and a Diploma in Arts Management from City University in the UK.

Troy Ellen Dixon, Marketing & Communications

A marketing professional with experience across a variety of industries, Troy Ellen is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy for P2P across all audience segments and in support of all marketplace initiatives. With capabilities that include branding/positioning and strategic planning, direct marketing, press and publicity, copywriting and conceptual design, and web design/development, Troy Ellen has demonstrated success in design and implementation of initiatives that establish marketplace presence, increase market share and maximize ROI. She has a proven ability to translate strategic vision into effective business-building initiatives, thoughtful marketing solutions and meaningful communication efforts. Troy Ellen holds a BA from the College of Arts and Sciences at Oberlin College.

Rick Nixon, Food Center Manager

Susan Zelman, Norwalk Site Manager

Susan joined Person-to-Person in July 2015. She is responsible for operational matters at the Norwalk office, including volunteer management, shift scheduling and Food Pantry inventory. Prior to joining P2P, Susan was regional coordinator of a student-to-student tutoring network and has over 20 years’ experience in the market research industry. She continues to be actively involved in school and community organizations, as a fundraiser organizer, event coordinator and communications specialist. She graduated from St. John's University with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and currently lives in Norwalk with her husband and two boys.

Christian Mendoza, Norwalk Assistant Site Manager

Christian joined Person-to-Person in April 2016. He works directly with the Norwalk Site Manager to coordinate operational matters, including volunteer management, Food Pantry inventory and ordering, database entry and upkeep, and in-kind donations for the Norwalk office. Prior to joining P2P, Christian worked both on a professional and personal level with the adult and youth immigrant population in the greater Stamford area, and has experience in program development and management, operational management, and volunteer coordination. Before joining the staff, his passion for the P2P mission led him to volunteer as a Youth Group Advisor for the P2P Norwalk Youth Group starting in May of 2015. He graduated from Norwalk Community College with an AA in Liberal Arts.

Casework Staff

The casework model at Person-to-Person uses the team approach, which combines extensive professional experience and collaborative energy to meet the immediate and long-term needs of Emergency Assistance clients at our offices in Darien and Norwalk. Working together under the guidance of the Director of Social Services, the paid staff includes bilingual caseworkers, Master’s level social workers and a Master’s level Licensed Professional Counselor. The team also includes a volunteer caseworker with more than 25 years of experience at the agency and is supported by a casework associate.
