Nancy Coughlin, CEO of Person-to-Person (P2P), received this year’s Liberty Bell Award from the Fairfield County Bar Association in recognition of her work and dedication to support underserved families in our community.

The Liberty Bell Award is an achievement that was initiated by the American Bar Association to acknowledge outstanding community service.

“The same reasons I became a lawyer led me to my career in the nonprofit sector: a belief in the notion of justice, a desire to protect the vulnerable, and a clear-eyed understanding of the role of civil society in our everyday lives,” shared Nancy upon receiving the award. “Whether social workers or advocates, we must place justice at the center of our work. I am grateful for this recognition for my commitment to improve the health and wellbeing of Fairfield County residents.”
