Thank you to the incredible team of event co-chairs Tracey Riccardi and Todd Lindvall, event committee members, sponsors, players, gift bag donors, auction donors, staff, and volunteers for helping to make Person-to-Person’s (P2P) inaugural golf outing at The Stanwich Club a wonderful success. It was a special day on Stanwich’s spectacular course, despite the periods of rain!

Events like this help us all make a difference. The funds raised through the outing will help P2P meet its critical mission ensuring individuals and families in our community who need essential services, from food to financial support, will receive it.

The community is recovering from the devastating pandemic, with the worst of it behind most of us, but not all. There are unknown numbers of people in our community facing a significant economic ongoing economic crisis from rent arrears, lack of steady employment, and lack of daycare for parents to get back to their jobs. It’s important to remember that long before we heard the word “COVID” our team at P2P was serving tens of thousands of our neighbors with food, clothing, rental assistance, scholarships, mentorships, camperships, and casework assistance. The need will not go away with the virus.

Your support means P2P will continue to provide the support and resources families need to pay their bills, stay in their homes, and raise healthy children. With your support, P2P can live up to the promise that as long as there is a need, P2P is here to help.
