Food

P2P On Wheels offers Stamford residents the opportunity to select free grocery items – including fresh produce, dairy items, meat and poultry, shelf-stable goods – to prepare three meals a day for seven days for every member of the family. All pantry shopping visits are by appointment following an initial meeting with a P2P Caseworker.

Casework Services

With P2P On Wheels, we bring the agency’s casework services directly to Stamford residents. A Caseworker will meet with clients to assess immediate need and help them plan for the future while providing financial assistance for rent, utilities, security deposits and eviction prevention.

Locations & Schedules

TEMPORARY SCHEDULE & LOCATION CHANGE DUE TO COVID-19

Responding to the need to increase our capacity to serve Stamford residents, we will shift our food pantry services to operate out of two partner locations, and add an additional day of operations. These changes will permit us to have longer distribution hours, and allow for safe social distancing.

Beginning Monday, April 27th, we will be providing food assistance at the following locations:

  • Yerwood Center (gym) 90 Fairfield Avenue: Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 AM – 2 PM
  • DOMUS (back parking lot/lobby) 83 Lockwood Avenue: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 AM – 2 PM.

These hours are being supplemented by home delivery to anyone requesting it. Those in need of services can call (203)655-0048
