Paris will lead Strategic Philanthropy and Advocacy Efforts to Enhance P2P’s Community Impact

Person to Person (P2P), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential resources and support to individuals and families throughout lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, is pleased to announce the appointment of Corey Paris as its Chief Impact Officer, effective March 21, 2024. In this newly created role, Paris will bring his extensive experience in fundraising, advocacy, and government relations to drive forward P2P’s philanthropic initiatives.

Paris has a background in both the nonprofit sector and public service. He served as Chief Development Officer for the Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC), achieving record-breaking success in revenue acquisition. Prior to CLC, Paris held key fundraising positions at the University of New Haven and the Hispanic Health Council. Elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives in 2021, Paris represents the 145th legislative district in Stamford. He serves as vice chair of the legislature’s Appropriations Committee and as a member of the Higher Education & Employment Advancement Committee and Education Committee. Paris was appointed Majority Caucus Chair of the House Democratic Caucus, focusing on retaining the caucus majority. He has led successful policy initiatives, including financial literacy curriculum mandates and early childhood education programs, as well as the passage of a student loan reimbursement program.

In his role as Chief Impact Officer, Paris will support P2P’s strategic plan to expand services and meet an increased demand for assistance, ensuring the organization’s growth aligns with its vision of thriving, hunger-free homes.
