On Tuesday, September 24, we hosted a reception at our Stamford warehouse to honor the donors who helped make both of our mobile food pantries a reality. This celebratory event was filled with gratitude, laughter, and delicious food as we recognized the incredible supporters who have fueled the expansion of our P2P on Wheels program.

This expansion was driven by the vision and support of former P2P Board Chair Mike Riccardi, whose leadership played a pivotal role in bringing it to life. The second mobile pantry was made possible through a generous $240,000 grant from the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation.

Guests enjoyed small bites prepared by Chef Samad Mickens of Beyond the Salt and Chef Martita of Empanadictas, both part of The Village’s Incubator Program, adding a delicious and festive touch to the evening.

It was a memorable night, celebrating the people who have made a profound impact on our community and the future of P2P on Wheels. Swipe through the photos below to experience the fun and festivities from the evening!
