Help fill the shelves, wrap a little wonder, and make the holidays brighter for local children.
For 51 years, Person to Person (P2P) has brought holiday joy to local families through its Toy Store. This year, more than 2,200 children across 1,200 families will receive gifts, thanks to the generosity of our community. Let’s make sure every child has something wonderful to unwrap!
Give a Gift. Make Some Magic.
Shop the virtual toy drive with Darien Toy Box and help P2P stock the Toy Store with gifts for children. You can also shop for books at Barrett Bookstore to donate to the Toy Store. Shopping local is a lovely way to support the businesses helping make the season bright, so please stop in to their Darien locations or visit the webstore.
Send a gift from home. Choose a book, toy, or game from the P2P Toy Store Amazon Wish List. Please make sure your Amazon account is set to Person to Person.
Wrap, donate, and spread cheer at The Magnificent Room. Visit The SoNo Collection to wrap your gifts for free, and bring along books, board games, or toys for P2P Toy Store.
Host a Toy Drive
Rally your coworkers, neighbors, classmates, or club and choose a way to help:
- Collect gifts for a specific age group: ages 0–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–11, or 12–15.
- Focus on one kind of gift: books or board games.
- Or build a little bundle of holiday joy for each child: one book and one toy, plus one board game for each family.
Add a Personal Touch
Decorate gift bags that will be used to package Toy Store items. A little color, sparkle, and imagination can make each gift feel even more special.
