Each summer, Person to Person helps send more than 250 local children to camp. With your support, we can reach even more.Through partnerships with local camps, children attend at reduced rates, but it still costs about $800 to send one child for the summer.
For many families, that cost is out of reach. Without support, kids miss out on safe, structured programs where they can build confidence, make friends, and just be kids.
Your support of the Person to Person Summer Campership Program helps make that possible. It gives children a summer filled with joy and growth, and gives working parents peace of mind knowing their kids are in a safe, supportive environment.
Meet a Future Camper and Her Mom
For one future camper, this summer will be her very first.
We met her and her family at P2P’s Campership Registration Day, where families come together to sign their children up for summer camp. When she talks about summer, she imagines simple joys—playing outside, going to the park, and sharing a picnic. This year, she has the chance to experience something more.
Through the Campership Program, she will attend camp for the first time—exploring new activities, making friends, and building confidence in a supportive environment.
For her mother, that opportunity means everything.
Like many working families, she is balancing the demands of providing for her family while wanting her child to be safe, engaged, and growing during the summer months. Campership makes that possible—ensuring her child has a place to go each day where she can learn, connect, and thrive.

Provide children with access to a fun and joyful camp experience, while giving their parents peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, enriching environment while they are at work. P2P has been providing children with Campership since 1969. Since 2014, we have made it possible for 3,500 children to attend area camps.
