The P2P Campership Program, through which hundreds of Stamford elementary school children are able to attend summer camp, expanded to Norwalk this summer with the help of funders such as Norwalk-based Datto and hundreds of individual donors who supported the 2017 Campership Appeal.

One of the core programs at Person-to-Person, The Campership Program positively impacts the entire family. It provides the type of enrichment that translates into better academic performance for children when they return to school in the fall. And it helps to preserve the family’s financial stability because parents can continue working during the summer months.

Twenty-two students attended camp at Odyssey Early Learning & Enrichment Program in Norwalk and three students attended Camp Aspetuck operated in Weston by Girl Scouts of Connecticut.

Having wrapped a successful summer, Person-to-Person will be increasing the Norwalk Campership Program in 2018 and beyond.
