The Alswanger family, founders and directors of Long Ridge Camp, one of Fairfield County’s premier day camps, have worked with Person-to-Person (P2P) since our inception, enabling camper scholarships for over 50 years. P2P works with families in our community to provide essential services, including food, clothing, and financial assistance. When you send your child to Long Ridge Camp this summer, Long Ridge will extend a campership to Person-to-Person.

To help our community, the Alswanger family is offering a special campership program to benefit P2P families. When you send your child to Long Ridge, for your family’s first year at Camp, the Alswanger’s will gift a camper scholarship for the child of a P2P family for an equal amount of cumulative weeks. This is based upon availability of specific age groups, as some groups are on (and are approaching) waitlist.

Camperships are an essential part of P2P’s programming, as they provide working families a safe, enriching environment for their child so they are able to continue working. Your support of Long Ridge Camp this year will also support a family who has been severely impacted by the pandemic. Thank you.

Call or email Long Ridge Camp for more information about the Camp or to arrange a personal tour.

Should you register, simply put “P2P LRC” in the “How did you hear about us?” field on the camp application and we will be notified of a new scholarship being awarded to a P2P child!
