Person to Person’s new look and website reflect an open and optimistic future

Darien, CT (November 11, 2021)–Person to Person (P2P) officially announced its new logo, color, and website. The new look was shared publicly on Tuesday night at an event at P2P’s Norwalk food pantry in South Norwalk, attended by volunteers, donors, staff, board members, and elected officials, including State Senator Bob Duff, State Representative Lucy Dathan, State Representative Matt Blumenthal, and Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling.

As we emerge from the pandemic, and with input from the community, it is the right time to create and share a fresh and optimistic new look and feel. The pandemic has been a dark and difficult time for so many, it is time for new beginnings.

“The new Person to Person logo and website are designed with our entire community in mind,” shared P2P Board President and Tudor Investment Corporation CEO Mike Riccardi. “We set out to create a look and materials that represent unity, optimism, and inclusiveness, and I believe we achieved that.”

The two arcs in the logo give the impression of giving and receiving. With the arcs being the same size, they reflect that we are all the same, but in differing circumstances. The arcs may also represent arms embracing in a hug, two hands reaching for each other, and a frown turning into a smile. The new light green color represents optimism, new growth, and the grassroots and community aspects of P2P.

With the new logo is an updated web site. The site is designed for improved ease of use; easier for clients to find services, volunteers to find appropriate opportunities, and the general community to learn more about P2P, the need in our community, and the work P2P does to improve the lives of thousands of our neighbors with essential services.

P2P would like to extend a sincere thanks to Karl Maruyama, the local graphic designer who developed the new look. In addition to creating the inspiring new look, Karl was so moved by the scope and heart of P2P’s work that he graciously donated his services.
