The Board of Directors of the Pitney Bowes Foundation, Inc. has granted $15,000 to Person-to-Person in support of the P2P Campership Program.

One of the core programs at P2P, Camperships are awarded to Stamford elementary school children who receive free or reduced-price meals during the school year. At an average cost of $600 per child, this grant will fund a full summer of day camp for 25 children this year.

The impact of this grant is significant and has important benefits. The Campership Program positively impacts the entire family. It provides the type of enrichment that translates into better academic performance for children when they return to school in the fall. And it helps to preserve the family’s financial stability because parents are able to continue working during the summer months.

We are most grateful to the Pitney Bowes Foundation for this generous grant, which will benefit so many of our neighbors in the communities we serve.
