Help Begins with You: Year-End Giving
P2P’s team of caseworkers, staff, and volunteers have witnessed firsthand the increased economic hardships faced by our community since the start of the pandemic, with many incurring terrible and often insurmountable debt just to survive. Economic hardship has been exacerbated even further due to the ever-increasing cost of living and inflation.
Your tax-deductible financial contribution to our year-end appeal will help ensure that no family must choose between food on the table or a safe, warm home to live.
Honor Friends and Family with a Meaningful Gift: P2P Holiday Acknowledgement Card
During the month of December, Person to Person offers the unique Holiday Gift Donation Card program. This program offers people an opportunity to provide a special tribute gift to family, friends, or business associates – in lieu of giving a more traditional holiday present. For a minimum donation of $50 per card, P2P will send a special holiday card to the designated recipient notifying them of the special and unique gift made in their name.
Holiday Toy Drive
The holiday season should be a magical time but for many families, it can cause added stress and difficulty. During the holiday season, many parents in our community are unable to experience the joy of buying their children a gift. By supporting our Holiday Toy Drive you can make a difference.
A gift of just $20 can provide a child experiencing economic hardship with a toy to unwrap this holiday season.
Virtual Food Drive
P2P is providing more food than ever before, in part due to the economic toll the pandemic has had on so many of our neighbors.
In the 12 months after the crisis started P2P distributed 71% more groceries than the 12 months prior to the crisis. That is enough groceries for more than TWO MILLION MEALS, or 5,831 meals a day.
A gift to P2P’s Virtual Food Drive will support P2P’s extensive and food program.

Support a Community Drive
Do you prefer to give a physical gift like food, clothing, or toys? Many of our community members have drives taking place throughout Fairfield County. Find the location that works best for you.
Dove Program
The Dove Program supports families in our community in two ways. Your White Dove Gift will be used to provide a gift card to a local family to purchase their holiday meal. Your Green Dove gift will support P2P’s Critical Needs Programs or Scholarships.
